In 2012, Fortis Microfinance Bank which I chaired at the time won the Nigerian Financial Technology award for the best use of IT in the micro finance industry.
At the time, Fortis micro finance bank implemented a lot of policies that drove our adoption of IT upwards. It was therefore humbling and rewarding to be recognized and appreciated for it.
